You can apply for your e-Visa any time before you travel. However, you are advised to create an eVisa application at least 48 hours before your departure.

It depends on the traveler’s nationality. If you are a citizen of one of the following countries, you will obtain a Multiple Entry eVisa:

Antigua and Barbuda, Armenia, Australia, Austria, Bahamas, Bahrain, Barbados, Belgium, Canada, Croatia, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Estonia, Grenada, Haiti, Hong Kong, Ireland, Jamaica, Kuwait, Latvia, Lithuania, Maldives, Malta, Mauritius, Netherlands, Norway, Oman, Poland, Portugal, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Spain, U.S.A, United Arab Emirates and United Kingdom.

Both the single and multiple entry eVisas are valid for 180 days after issued. Note that only certain nationalities are eligible for the multiple entry option.

No. The validity period of your eVisa begins from the date specified in your application. You can enter Turkey on any date within this period.
After you make a payment, the link to download your eVisa will be emailed to you. Passport control officers at the ports of entry can verify your eVisa in their system. However, you are advised to keep your eVisa with you either as a softcopy (on tablet pc, smartphone etc.) or as a hardcopy in case of any failure in the system.
